Sky Tree (2024)
This piece captures the Tokyo Skytree — the tallest structure in Japan, rising 634 meters into the sky. Inspired by the iconic clouds found in the woodblock prints of Katsushika Hokusai, delicate cloud forms have been manually scraped into the surface of the paper, evoking the organic shape of a tree reaching upward.
Shot in Tokyo, Japan.
